What Are the Most Common Pre-Bankruptcy Mistakes
Made by Chattanooga Bankruptcy Debtors?

Is there any hope if I made one of these mistakes?

1. Credit Card Binge debts - have you been using your credit cards over the past 6 months to a year?  Does it make a difference if you used your credit cards to buy food and gas?  Click on the link to find out.

2. Recent Repayment of Debts to Relatives - did your parents or siblings loan you money that you recently paid back.  Is it reasonable to pay your relatives but not pay credit card debt - click on the link to learn whether you have big problems or no problem at all.

3. I sold an Item that was Subject to a Lien - did you sell furniture, appliances, electronics or other personal property that was still encumbered by a lien?  What happens if you file for bankruptcy?

4. I tried to file a bankruptcy on my own, without a lawyer and my case was dismissed.  Am I able to file again?

5. Credit card balance transfers - Over the past year, I transferred balances from one credit card to another.  Will that stop me from filing for bankruptcy?

6. I used my credit cards to pay my taxes/child support/criminal restitution.  Will I be able to discharge those credit cards?
